So basically you don't have an opinion on what should be done in Iraq, but have plenty of criticism for everyone elses...

The Biden plan calls for a phased withdrawal...now not later, so you'd support a vote that would include a phased withdrawal, starting in September? Bush or his little minions like Gen. P wouldn't be too happy with you

I have an opinion. I said Biden's plan is a good one. Read my posts, I'm getting tired of responding to things that have been made up today.

The Biden plan calls for a phased withdrawal...now not later, so you'd support a vote that would include a phased withdrawal, starting in September?
That's what I said... I thought it was pretty clear and in plain English. What was so confusing that it needs to be asked again?

Bush or his little minions like Gen. P wouldn't be too happy with you
Who cares? What the hell does this mean?

We're talking about Iraq attacks here, this isn't offtopic...how can you sit with all the pro-surge people talking how we need another 6-12 months of this, yet say you're for starting to withdraw IMMEDIATELY...

We can't have 160,000+ troops in Iraq for 6+ months without reduction and start taking them out...

How is discussing me personally not off topic?

How can I "sit" with who? Huh?

ok.
Well, if I didn't give my opinion to start this thread, you'd lock it and tell me "I had to include an opinion" yet you can throw up a ton of Iraq surge threads and giving your opinion is offtopic?

Do the rules need to be changed or something?

You still haven't made your choice, do we keep the Bush plan of160,000 troops for 6-12 months, no taking a single one out (as Petraeus want us to do) or do we go with the Biden Plan that starts withdrawing next month, in a phased redeployment

Which one? Or tell us you were mistaken and don't like the Biden plan either

I thought large attacks were shrinking? Anyway, horrible news...at the peak of our surge, we're having the worst attack in our occupation's history
You mean some arabs attacked some other arabs, and it's our fault even though we weren't involved? That's pretty amazing. Bush must have switched his hurricane to its "Arab Mind Control" setting.

What this means to me is that we still have more people to kill.

Worst attack of the Occupation, 250+ Iraqis killed in one town
Worst attack of the Occupation, 250+ Iraqis killed in one town

This is so pathetic it's almost humorous.

We have an occupation force in Iraq, what happens there is our responsibility

Paul Bremer, a US official, formed Iraq, and the Iraqis that eventually started a government never cast one vote that we should stay or were needed, or in what capacity...we're still transitioning them...and Bush has said the Iraqi government word is not bond...if they all told us to leave in 6 months, Bush would not obey...because we are OCCUPYING the country...again meaning WE'RE RESPONSIBLE

Are you fucking kidding me?

We eliminated the thing that kept these sects in check. We are directly responsible for the sectarian violence and it wasn't planned for by the leadership. Not many people on either side of the aisle dispute this.

The media, blogs, forums, and gossip in America will be discussing the "largest" and "worst" attack in Iraq just a couple weeks before the progress report, which is intended to skew the overall picture in Iraq and force us to leave. The fact that they got to kill some Kurds was just icing on the cake for them.

Pulling the party line. Proof this was Al Qaeda?

Why on Earth would AQ want us out of Iraq? They won't be welcome there anymore after we leave and their recruiting pool will diminish.

They're not welcome in the Kurdish villages now... Why wouldn't leave? Once we're gone it will be a power struggle to get into positions of power within Iraq much like what we see in the Sudan.

They were never welcomed in the Kurdish areas, that's a red herring...AQ is there because we are there and bottom line we are their best recruiting tool. It sucks but unfortunately that is how it is...16 securities agencies said this
