Of course, we've never done it like this before either

A part of me hopes that we're successful in some way because it's just so horrible to think that all those people would have died in vane, but then that would set a precadent by which future administrations might want to follow: if you don't agree with another country, just completely invade them, kill lots of people, and force a change.

Saddam invaded kuwait. We installed Saddam in Iraq, and for what reason he was recently removed is still debated. Huge difference.

I think it will be better in the long term. As the Iraqi people become more educated I think they will thank the US more. I think the resenment of the US in the middle east is due to ignorance and will subsude with more knowledge.

I don't think so. I think as they become more educated, they're going to like us less.. because we'll still meddle in their affairs.
