Huckabee praises Clinton marriage

Huckabee is a nice guy, much like Dole, if he wasn't so dead set against everything I believe in life, he'd be a great guy to be around...he's been on the Colbert Report

He has a point, whatever you want to say about the Clinton's, they could have divorced, arguably it would have benefitted her politically, or at least seperated...especially after Lewinsky

I think Bill would really like to be a playboy and Hillary would really like to sock him in the face and never speak to him again...and court some young love interests of her own...but they both worked it out...

As opposed to people like Rudy who have had the ugliest divorces, rampant cheating on multiple wives, telling the media he was getting divorced before he told his soon to be ex-wife...his own son hating him, etc

I've always thought that.

I think it's too bad that people would look at the two of the working it out and staying together against them.

I think it's a sign of strong character. It doesn't make her a doormat. We don't have a window inside their marriage, but when it comes down to it, I'm sure they love each other very much.

Well, you aren't the only one who thought they should part ways.

So, by your theory, she would be stonger politically for not being with him.

so the main reason I can see Hillary "staying with her man" is cause she knew she was going to run for office and having Bill there next to her, not divorced, with the Clinton name, gave her a better chance of winning in some circles.

for me though, it shows weakness.

I think her staying with Bill was a political move as well, but it's purely speculation. And I think Huckabee praising her is nothing other than a desperate political move as well.

of course it's purely speculation. it would never be able to be proven otherwise. but speculation itself can win or lose elections.

im going to have some speculation and say that mike huckabee who said this is really a transexual

I have no basis for any of this, but i felt like joining in on the rampant speculation with no facts
