| Bad Boys of Rock tour is kickass Yesterday a buddy of mine called and had an extra concert ticket (another friend of mine couldn't get off of work to go) for the Bad Boys of Rock tour for 20 bucks, so I said sure, I'd go. The bands aren't really my favorite, I only know a few of their songs from the radio, but what the hell, it was Friday and going to Cleveland for a concert would be fun. These are the bands, in the order they played. opening band, I can't think of the name (probably lost it in the alcohol) Buckcherry Papa Roach Hinder all of them fucking rocked, Papa Roach was probably my favorite ... bunch of bands with 3 guitars... they can rock out for sure after we went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland which is a nice place if you guys are ever so unfortunate to be in Cleveland... remaining dates: Aug 25 Columbia, MD Merriweather Post Pavilion Aug 26 Essex Junction, VT Champlain Valley Exposition Aug 28 Boston, MA Bank of America Pavilion Aug 29 Allentown, PA The Great Allentown Fair Aug 30 Syracuse, NY New York State Fair Grandstand Sept 7 Clarkston, MI DTE Energy Music theater Sept 8 Allegan, MI Allegan County Fair Sept 9 Peoria IL Peoria Civic Center Arena Sept 12 York, PA York Fair Grandstand

| I've never had a hangover and I've been completely trashed mixing different types of alcohol before. But I think that's because I have some sort of mutant liver. The concert sounded cool though. | ||||

| I told my dad how trashed I've been and never been hungover. When I was out in LA a few weeks ago, I got really trashed two nights, so much so that I still felt drunk when I woke, but I just took a shower, ate breakfast, and I was completely ok. He said that both he and my grandfather are/were the same way. My grandfather was probably an alcoholic, but never had liver problems... died of emphysema b/c he smoked so damn much. My dad says the only thing that gets him hung over is wine (which I don't really drink much of). So I think it's a family thing for us.  | ||||

| IIUC, (& i probably dont), its the other non-alcohol stuff in the booze that isnt eliminated coz the body is busy processing the alcohol that causes the pain of hangovers, ..., thus mixing your drinks means a greater range of other fings left in yer system the irony of not being able to get time off work to attend a 'bad boys of rock' concert should be commented upon | ||||
