You are however, free to reject it. You are free to choose whatever religon you want or no religion at all. But so is everyone else. So you have to live with that.

Flag burning is a form of free speech. Unpopular as it may be, it is precisely that form of unpopular speech which needs protecting and which IS protected by the first ammendment.
There have been numerous attempts in congress to pass a law banning flag burning. There is probably one bill a year that tries to ban it. It never passes.
It is unquestionably unconstitutional.

Burning flags is everyone's constitutional right, like not having to vote.

Still, if someone said you should not burn flags and you must vote, I would truly fight for their rights in being able to have such personal views, even though I did not actually agree with them.
