NU's front seven was failing at stopping the run. USC also fumbled 5 times and NU didn't get a single recovery. Those two things were why they lost. They played well enough offensively, as Keller threw 66% completion for nearly 400 yards. Just didn't bounce their way last night.

Just some issues with the defense, their lack of effort, being out of position, and overall coaching failure. The husker offense is clicking extremely well but the defense needs to man the fuck up. Soon as it does i think they could hang with just about anyone, except LSU or Oklahoma. Those two are playing in a league of their own at the moment.

I recognize its ball state but keller completed 78% of his passes for roughly 450 yards and 3 tds.

OSU will be a solid team by the end of this year.... seem to be coming along nicely.... lots of offensive weapons and a solid D.

If NU's defense starts to show up, they are a top 15 team. Until then I think they should not be ranked.

They will get back in the top 25 if the defense shows up and they play like they should. They have ranked teams on their schedule such as Kansas, Kansas State, and Texas.

Just as Michigan snuck its way back in there, they can also toward the end of the season.

The entire problem for nebraska is defense. They gey behind 14..17..21..points in less than a half and their game plan has to change. The offense becomes more obvious and predictable, and it basically screws them. The defense doesn't pressure the other qb, create turnovers, or do anything to help.

Yep, they had a meeting today and he was canned. More heads will be rolling, most likely end of season. Rumor has it Kevin Cosgrove (defense coordinator), Randy Jordan (running backs), Phil Elmassian (defensive backs), Dennis Wagner (offensive line).

Perlman said the new AD would be making to decision regarding the head coach.

Defense showed up the 1st half this time and we were very competitve. Going in to the half i was confident we had that game. Then A&M came out and shoved the ball down NU's throat.
