I was thinking that maybe he'd skip vetoing it because he doesn't know the process to veto something

During the last few centuries, things have been done in the name of Medical Science that are considered unethical by many. However, out of that evil, good came about because of it. Those practices are not practiced now as they were then. So, I would take advantage of that.

However, if a medical practice was being used that I did not agree with, and it yielded a cure for me, I would like to believe that I would not take it. But I cannot say for sure, since when you have death staring at you, you will sometimes make decisions that you normally would not do.

I understand that you are against the harvesting of it, and the whole spending bill part of it, but don't you think it's hypocritical to accept treatment that you (and by "you" I mean anyone who is opposed to research of stem cells in any form) essentially were against?

In my mind, that would be like not wanting to fund AIDS research and to deny public funds for people to afford AIDS medication, but then you get it, and you want the access that people with AIDS had been fighting for....
