Wow. I'm reminded of that scene from Heroes where she wakes up on the autopsy table.. ugh. How can you be a trained health official and not realize someone is still alive? I mean, is it possible (without the use of drugs or whatever) for the heart rate to be that low, and breathing that shallow..? | ||||

well ever hear about the whole reason there was a "graveyard shift"? because it was commonplace enough that people were buried alive that they put a string in their hand and had it go up above ground to a little bell, so in case they weren't actually dead, they could ring the bell and the person on graveyard shift would hear it and get someone to dig them up asap. funky little things you learn when you used to give the ghost tours in Newport RI. | ||||
