You know what would be funny is if they had two bulls and they tazed them even longer until they peed themselves. Now that would be funny HAHAH Or if one bull was in a wheelchair HAHAHA.

i don't condone tasing anything unnecessarily, however tasers must be tested. If this taser can stop an animal non-lethally instead of having to kill it, i think it's much more humane. But to make sure that taser won't also just kill the animal, you have to test it on an animal.

I find it amusing when cops test tasers on each other, or self defense gurus, or whatever. The only difference between that and this is that the animal can't verbally agree to the tasing.

Tasers are meant for people. A bull is nothing like a person.

so you think it's better to just kill an out of control bull than to tase it?

Tasers are temporary only meant for 5 seconds and all it does is piss off the bull more. Hell no I wouldn't taze an out of control bull.

if it's in a pin with someone else and that 5 seconds could be the difference between life and death for the person stuck in there with the animal, you'd rather kill the animal than tase it?

When does an out of control bull pose a threat to a person? Oh yeah, when they tie a rope around it's balls and try to ride them...or try to stab them with swords while waving a red cape at it.

Oh please, this isn't a debate about whether or not tasing is more humane than killing.. it's a debate about whether a video showing people tasing a bull that obviously isn't putting anyone in danger is "so fucking funny"

I don't find animal cruelty funny whether it's a sympathetic animal like a dog or a farm animal like a horse or bull..

You cut though the bull crap, your right. I find the power of that thing amazing though. I never knew they could knock a bull over with it.

The situation isn't what I find amusing, it's the way the bull just straightens out and keels over like it is made out of wood. Just like I don't find the situation amusing when cops or self-defense people willingly get tased to prove a point, it's the way their muscles seemingly turn into jello.

internetz, serious bidness.

So I suppose then you oppose riding horses as well, correct? And you oppose using cattle as food too, amirite?

What does that have to do with anything in this thread?

you're suddenly taking the "if a bull puts a person in danger, its obviously because of a situation the person created, so why is it right to stop the bull from hurting them?!" So I'm asking you if then you think that all of the interactions we have with animals that could potentially harm the animal or could put a person into danger are wrong. If you don't think this, then you're being hypocritical in this situation.

Riding a horse and killing animals for survival doesn't equate to fucking with animals for sport. There is inherent danger to things like bull riding and bull fighting. That should be an assumed risk.

Let me put what you're arguing into another context that is more familiar to all of us: There is inherent danger is driving a car. We don't need any traffic laws or safety regulations/requirements for motor vehicles, it is an assumed risk.

I hate the reputation system. This is the second time in a couple days I've tried to give you a positive rep and it tells me some gay shit about spreading points around.

That is EXACTLY what I found funny about the video. And when people get tased? It's their reaction more than their jello muscles. Like that stupid lady who was on her cellphone in the car when the cop pulled her over... Oh man, I watched that one over and over and over.

Who said animal tasers are fucking with animals for sport? The bull was caged, this wasn't for sport, it was for test.

But there are hundreds of reasons to have a taser like this for safety. Perhaps not anything that YOU do, but that doesn't make those things wrong. What about hiking in the wilderness? I bet tasing a bear that was intent on mauling you would be nice. A lot better than that "play dead" or "stand still" defense.
