And hey, a different idiotic conclusion? So which other conclusions are also idiotic, the ones you disagree with too? ![]() People are entitled to their opinions, given Rush's sad history of lambasting soldiers because they didn't agree with his political philosophy, coming to the conclusion I did is not a stretch. Bottom line is at least he's working to make some good come out of the whole situation, raising money for charities obviously doesn't take back what he said, but maybe he'll get some good karma from it. That is, if you can buy karma with money. ps, welcome to LL

However, it does help to have an informed opinion. I certainly don't agree with everything Limbaugh has said or done, but your comment above about his 'sad history' makes it obvious you don't listen to him, and is definitely a 'stretch'- and no, I don't need to take a poll- it's easy to identify critics who are uninformed and/or misinformed by their talking-point-source websites. That's painfully clear in your last paragraph. Limbaugh had nothing to take back from (the Media Matters/Congress political smear on) his statements. Any one that has listened regularly to Limbaugh would know his sincerity on the whole issue of supporting the troops and criticism of the MM parade of stooges who were caught in their lies about the conduct of the war. I don't know about karma flows, and Limbaugh is certainly no angel, but he didn't buy anything, he gave away $2mil to a worthy charity, a most clever 'turning of the cheek'. Independent thinkers take the arguments presented from both sides and weigh their validity. On this one, the Dems and their extremist financial supporters have been exposed for their intellectual, patriotic and moral bankruptcy (One cries for a Joseph Welch to say: "have you no decency, sirs, at long last?") There is a principled position in opposing the war that left or right idealogues have taken. What has taken place in the last month by this left-wing cabal is hardly a principled stand.

| Yes, not that Harry Reid meant this to happen. But I hear he has taken some kind of credit in his remarks yesterday?
