| Who's following college football recruiting? I try to keep up to speed on what Jim Tressel is up to in the recruiting business because generally he seems to do pretty well - even kids that come in ranked with 3 stars can be developed into great players at the college level or NFL talent. Right now Tressel is building what should be the best offensive line in the country in a couple years. It's sick. They have commitments from these guys: Michael Brewster - Center - 5 stars on Scout #1 at his position nationally - 6'5" and 300lbs Mike Adams - Tackle - 5 stars on Scout #2 at his position nationally - 6'7.5" and 301lbs J.B. Shugarts - Tackle - 5 stars on Scout #6 at his position nationally - 6'7.5" and 310lbs Jacob Stoneburner - Tight End - 4 stars on Scout #4 at his position nationally - 6'4.5" and 220lbs with 4.46 speed The Buckeyes also could still land Josh Jenkins, a 5 star guard ranked #1 nationally at his position by Scout and has visited OSU. He is 6'3.5" and 303lbs. Supposedly a "soft verbal" commit to West Virginia, but we'll see how that plays out if WVU continues to struggle this year and prove they are never going to be a national championship contender. Tressel might be able to pull this one off - all he has to do is tell the kid he will be a part of the best O-line in college football in 3 years Buckeyes are also in the Final 6 list for stud QB Terrelle Pryor from Pennsylvania. Kid is 6'6" and 210lbs and ranked the #3 recruit in the country this year. The 6 teams he named as in the running are Ohio State, West Virginia, Texas, Penn State, Florida, and Tennessee. He also said that Ohio State, Florida, and West Virginia stand out among those six. He has an official visit to Buckeye country planned for November 2nd. They are also working very hard to land a 4 star RB/WR Lamaar Thomas who has been described as a Percy Harvin type player... looks like the Bucks are the team to beat to get him, so hopefully he commits after his 2nd visit. The only thing to fear here is what Ron Zook might tell the kid when he visits Illinois... Zook is an amazing recruiter. How are your teams doing? I'm sure at least 6Speed keeps up with recruiting, probably Dos as well.

| A few years ago when Texas won that bowl game over USC I watched the 4th quarter and saw a guy I went to high school with break his arm on a reception. Does that count? | ||||

| I only follow nebraska's, and their line class isn't to shabby either. We have a 5 star out of Lincoln committed, Baker Steinkuhler. Hes 6'6' 290 and runs a 4.8 40yd. We also have three 4 star guys in Bryce Givens, Dan Hoch, and Trevor Robinson (will be re-committing soon). Picked up (per rivals) the no. 2 pro style 5 star quarterback in Blaine Gabbert. We got one of Michigan's top players Jonas Gray for a RB recruit to commit. There are also two 4 star linebacker recruits signed up too. Then we have a boat load of 3 star guys. | ||||
