Oh please, try looking at some situations from a perspective that hasn't been forced on the public through biased news organizations.

Not everything is them firing a rocket at someone holding a rocket launcher who happens to be in a civilian area.

Israel carries out assassinations. This includes people whose politics they dont like even if they're not violent themselves. You might be able to say in some cases it's "provoked" because of "who the person is", however, when they launch a bomb or rocket that destroys a 50, 100, 150 foot area, killing 10 civilians in the process of taking this guy out while he's at some market.. it's not justified.

I'd challenge anyone to take an objective look at the tactics that Israel uses in Gaza, the West Bank, etc.. and by objective I mean, put aside your prejudices that they're "responding" to something, or they're "doing what they have to" and all of the other bullshit you've been spoonfed thanks to Israeli media lobbies in the US, and take a look at how the Palestinian people are forced to live.

When you're done, ask yourself if you think being in that situation wouldn't make you want to do whatever you could to fight back against such oppression. Ask yourself if they're always 100% justified in their response like the media wants you to believe.

They're not. I'm sorry, I know alot of people will think I'm a "terrorist sympathizer" or "anti-Semite" for saying it, but they're not.

They're not always right.
Their reasons aren't always logical.
Their response isn't always correct.
Their methods aren't always humane.

Are the terrorists though? No, of course not. But when you sink to that same level of justifying the deaths of innocents to accomplish your tactical goals, you're no better than those you're fighting.

When you're so fucking miserable as a vast majority of these people are, being glorified as a martyr starts to look like pretty damn good option. Is it justified? No, obviously the tactics are bad.

However:

That's the same kind of "the ends justify the means" that other massively oppressive regimes which I'll refrain from naming at this point in time used to justify the horrors we've seen in the past.

Their actions do perpetuate the conflict. They need to stop being treated with kid gloves by the media and by the rest of the world just because they're fucking Israel.

Look, what happened in WW2 was horrible. Everyone rational can agree with that. But what happened 60 years ago is 60 years ago, and it shouldn't entitle them to do whatever the fuck they want just because they had to go through it.

I'm sick of Israel being "off limits" for criticism and people being so damn one sided. It's annoying and ignorant.

The shoot first, ask questions later policy over there needs to end. Both sides are guilty.
Ex-fucking-actly.

When they do shit like this and wind up killing people who had nothing, it's not enough to go "oops, teehee!" and then go on about your daily life.

It's that exact shit that helps breed terrorists and terrorism and radical groups use it to their advantage.. but Israel likes to turn around and pretend that they're never guilty of provoking anything.. if there's a suicide attack in their nation, they'll feign ignorance of the causes while they still occupy Palestinian land and oppress their people, while they carry out daily military operations in their country and refuse to allow people to travel freely (even to their homes) in Gaza and the West Bank.

Does it make the terrorist justified? Though some will accuse me of trying to justify such attacks because they lack a coherent argument, of course it doesn't.

However, people need to start realizing that Israel is not innocent in all of this. They're not just sitting at home "watching tv" like some benign entity and not bothering anyone while these people are coming out of the woodworks to attack them.

There goes that argument.

AFAIK, it wasn't run by another countries government, it was a foreign company operating in disputed waters because of permission from the other government..

They boarded it just like the US coast guard will board foreign boats.

Not saying they're right or wrong, but what they've done is hardly out of the ordinary when it comes to being in control of claimed national waters.

Yeah because the situations are even remotely relevant.

More than 200 Palestinians, many of them civilians, have died since Israel launched a wide offensive in Gaza two months ago, after militants captured an Israeli soldier.

That Pianoman duet they do is so badass... but Elton makes Billy sound pretty poor in comparison

I bet he is really good... but i just can't bring myself to spend $250+ dollars to see it. I'll buy a dvd of it for 20 and put it on a home theatre, and use the $230 left over for hookers and pot.
