Shi'ite militias clashing with Iraqi government troops and Sunni militias

BAGHDAD, Iraq, Aug. 28 — Members of a Shiite militia killed at least 15 Iraqi soldiers in fierce fighting today in the southern city of Diwaniya, Iraqi officials said.

Ok so now the Shia militias are battling the Shia government, and the Sunni insurgents are fighting both of them

So we have a 3 way fight, I wonder when the Kurds will jump in, or how about Turkey, or Iran, or Syria or Egypt or Saudi Arabia!

No civil war here, nothing to see, move along

In other news, Al Sadr lost control of part of his militia which split into a completely seperate group after resisting his calls to join in the political process.

So, apparently Al Sadr is too moderate for them.

The Government is being seen as less and less legitimate as time goes on, and Malaki's statements seem more and more empty.
