Trey - (Oklahoma)

Aren't you supposed to hold on to the football?

Also I think the football is supposed to go between the uprights.

Yeah, you were poohing yourself because OU was playing bad... and OU still ended up dominating in a general sense. Mizzou is not that good. Trust me. Their offense is a threat don't get me wrong, but all you have to do is rattle them just a little bit and they screw themselves.

The big 12 north has figured out how to play offense, but defensively they are some where between weak and poor. The big 12 north has basically upgraded themselves to a texas tech/oklahoma state type group of teams.... better than they used to be.. but flawed.

Nebraska USED to be the only team that combined offense and defense. Now their defense doesn't exist on any level.

Mizzou has left:

Texas tech
Iowa State
at Colorado
Texas A&M
at Kansas St
at Kansas

Of that group i would only give them 1 'for sure' win, Iowa State. I think missouri could potentially beat all of them, but it is simply not going to happen. At kansas and at kansas state? At colorado? Those are three tough road games, 2 of which are ranked in the top 25. Texas Tech will be a shoot out game. Texas A&M held Oklahoma state in check and they run a simliar offense.

I can't wait for Oklahoma State to play a team with a real defense...errr a real rushing D. Texas and Oklahoma specifically. Oklahoma is 4th in the nation rushing yards allowed. OSU and their fans are touting the fact that they're the "best rushing team in the big 12" and I'd have to say I completely disagree. Oklahoma doesn't rush the ball because we have a more balanced attack and a quarterback that is just fucking sick.

If OSU puts 400 yards rushing on Texas I'll be a believer. Until then I dont think their rushing game is all that.

I went to the OSU/Nebraska game, and I can tell you first hand their running game is not the best in the big 12. The thing they do well is mix up their plays. They have a QB who can throw pretty accurate and runs really well. It creates that extra component to defend. Savage is a good back, hes pretty quick and has that cut back ability. They are really very similar to missouri, but a little easier to defend imho because they only have one major threat at reciever in Adarius Bowman. That gives teams a chance to focus more on the run and the QB when trying to stop them.

Assuming OU shows up they should beat them in a 40s to 10s manner. Same with Texas really.

Yep. They have the talent to maintain a 10-15th place ranking, but they are playing around a 45-55th place ranking.

1 on 1 i would put most of nebraska's athletes against anyone in the country. They just do not have any team chemistry what so ever. They are playing hesitant.

I really...really...really hope this does not affect the recruiting class. They need to keep callahan but force his hand to remove the defensive coordinator and maybe a few others on the staff. I have faith in his offense, but the defense is really the problem. When you give up 40 points and 600 yards a game...yeah.

I think your talent is top 10 or 15 as you stated but its not at a LSU/TEXAS/USC/FLORIDA/OKLAHOMA level. The athletes on those teams ESPECIALLY the first four is ridiculous. What is so impressive about Oklahoma is how deep we are, but all four of those teams could man up on us in most or all starting positions. But we have the ability to rotate guys through every position and lose very little in the process.
