Actually I think Colbert is a very smart and funny guy. He would have no problem making me look bad in a debate.

Dennis Miller is also funny on O'Reilly, but I know a scripted comic routine when I see one.

A Miller/Colbert Debate?

That would get ratings!

They're not the news, and very few viewers think of it as that. It's a satirical political commentary show that lampoons the events in the news.

I will give you honesty points with that "very few" remark. I am not trying to throw a huge blanket on that audience. However, I have run into people in real life and on the web who watch those shows as a source of information and think they are being clever when they repeat the sarcasm. I wonder if they ever watch a real news program or just selected clips on biased web sites and comedy shows? That is not being well informed.
