Shit, even the people at hotair ( Hot Air » Blog Archive » Glenn Beck: A lot of people who hate America are losing their homes in the wildfire ) recognize it was a stupid thing to say, the idea that this is somehow defensible is just downright stupid There's a complete difference between being someone who's not "politically correct" (ie: Bill Maher, Howard Stern) and this.. this is way beyond a simple lack of political correctness. | I'm not saying his opinion really matters, I just find it extremely distasteful and a measure of what's wrong with the media these days.. he's trying to take what should be regarded as a natural disaster and personal tragedy to a lot of people, and trying to inject divisive politics for no good reason. Again, it's one thing to bring up the environmental issues associated with the wildfires, but this is a completely different thing..
