Glenn Beck isn't politically correct, he's wrong a lot of the time at least in my opinion. He's a right wing conservative and he says it each and every show. You dont listen to his show to get the news or to get a balanced perspective on anything. You listen to his show to be entertained and get the POV of right wing conservatives. | ||||

| This story has been all over the internets for days, it's not something that's exclusive to the Media Matters page.. Shit, even the people at hotair ( Hot Air » Blog Archive » Glenn Beck: A lot of people who hate America are losing their homes in the wildfire ) recognize it was a stupid thing to say, the idea that this is somehow defensible is just downright stupid There's a complete difference between being someone who's not "politically correct" (ie: Bill Maher, Howard Stern) and this.. this is way beyond a simple lack of political correctness. I don't understand how anyone can be so simple minded as to be entertained by this kind of drivel, how many times can you hear "they disagree, thus they hate America, and bad things that happen to them are good" before it's tiring? | ||||

| Of course it is, but that doesn't mean global warming caused this fire. This fire was likely the product of arson at worst and at best the product of poor environmental policy of underbrush and preventing natural smaller fires. | ||||

| I don't need to hear the show to look at transcripts, and if you had read the thread you'd see several conservative websites had also said pretty much the same thing I posted. I actually got it off hotair.com and followed several links until it lead me to USAToday, figured I'd post the Media Matters one as well since I know how much you love them | ||||

| Glenn Beck is retarded. Just this morning he literally said "Ron Paul has crazy ideas and is supported by neo-nazis" and "If it were Ron Paul vs. Hilary Clinton, Hilary would look more appealing." I think it doesn't matter at all what this fool says, but that's my opinion | ||||

| I'm not saying his opinion really matters, I just find it extremely distasteful and a measure of what's wrong with the media these days.. he's trying to take what should be regarded as a natural disaster and personal tragedy to a lot of people, and trying to inject divisive politics for no good reason. Again, it's one thing to bring up the environmental issues associated with the wildfires, but this is a completely different thing.. This guy is given an important position as a prime time pundit on CNN, it lets him air this bullshit to far too many people, and it just really sucks that this is what the news has devolved into. | ||||
