WASHINGTON - George W. Bush, despite all his recent bravado about being an apostle of small government and budget-slashing, is the biggest spending president since Lyndon B. Johnson. In fact, he's arguably an even bigger spender than LBJ. "He's a big government guy," said Stephen Slivinski, director of budget studies ...

| Bush Biggest Spender since LBJ :ugh:
Ask these same people making excuses if they want their SS checks or medicare/medicade to be decreased and they scream bloody murder. Make excuses for spending like the war, compare it to other wars like Vietnam or WWII which this war doesn't even compare to is just getting downright old. Not to mention I believe the mismanagement of Iraq has cost us 2 years at about 100B/yr...so thats another 200Billion that had we planned the invasion/post war properly we could have saved.

I've been so frustrated by this administration that it just makes me want to vote third party regardless of the candidates in question

| That should be a lesson to REAL Republicans don't automatically submit to and vote for the candidate shoved down your throat by the RNC. Also starting at State level, do your best to weed out the greedy corrupt incumbents, the folks in Pa did a decent job the last time., still some work to be done here though. REal Republicans meaning those folks who refuse to be brainwashed, by Limbaugh, Coulter, Dick Morris, Reagan and others | ||||

On a national level we've got one great senator and one blah senator. Problem is corruption spans both political parties and I'm getting tired of this "lesser of two evils" presidential election crap we've had for far too long.
