I got my review today :noes:

It was actually a pre-review review. My boss and I talked for almost an hour on the phone. The "real" review will be sometime at the end of next month.

At the end I received a 4/5 average. I got all 4's and one 5.

1 = Fails to meet requirements
2 = Partially meets requirements
3 = Fully meets requirments
4 = Frequently exceeds requirements
5 = Consistantly exceeds requirements

I'm thinking I would have gotten more 5's if OT and LL didn't exist

My review was a few months ago and I got all 4's and 5's on a similar type scale, though we have some 10-12 categories.

Despite that, my raise this year is only 2%, which doesn't even overtake inflation

Hell no!

A healthy raise at my company is anything more than 5%

So I'm guessing I will get 5-6%.

Ouch....

When I first started with this company the normal increase was 10%. Those days are long gone.

in the 18 months I worked at the bookstore I got a total of 12.5% more than the day I started... But that was only $6/hr to $6.75/hr.

Yeah, % wise that figure looks great. When you count the change, not so much.

I've been at my current job almost two years.

Never had a review.

Never had a raise.

Never had actually anything to do.

So I'm not complaining.

When I first started where I work, I did really well. Started as a student making $8/hr, 6 months later went to $11/hr, and 6 months later went to $15/hr.

A year and a half ago I got my current position, which is salary and make more than that, but this 2% piece-of-shit-raise is the first time since I got on salary that I've gotten a raise at all
