| Upcoming Interview: 11/14/07 - Ed O'Reilly (running against john kerry) Wednesday the 14th i'm interviewing Ed O'Reilly, live in studio, who is running against John Kerry for US Senate in 2008. His website is: Ed O'Reilly for U.S. Senate 2008 | "We the People..." Post any relevant questions here, I already plan on asking why people would vote to change from one Massachusetts liberal to another, with a significant loss of seniority in going from Kerry, one of the most senior senate members, to O'Reilly, who would be the newest. | ||||

| From the video on his webpage I'd anticipate an interview where you'd have to step up the pace to keep it interesting. I'd try to ask a lot of pointed questions. You've already got why he wants to run against Kerry, you're probably gonna get a long winded answer. After that I'd try to hit him up with a lot of direct questions and try to phrase them to get short answers. I'd ask things around the topics of: How does he differ from Kerry on issues other than Iraq. What does he envision for Mass. When did he decide he wanted to run for Senate and on what grounds did he make that decision. What does he feel he can contribute to the DNC in Washington. | ||||

| Ask him what he thinks should be done about the massive power incumbents have against challengers in our political society It's a huge problem, the re-election rate of incumbents against challengers is incredibly high Also ask him what he thinks about equal funding for candidates so that a primary process actually means something more than who has the bigger bank account | ||||
