Hillary has more moves than OJ Simpson!

She was bobbing and weaving questions like an NFL running back avoiding tackles!

At a Democratic debate in Philadelphia, Sen. Hillary Clinton ducked some questions and gave misleading answers to others.

She falsely implied that the reason White House documents about her communications with her husband haven't been released is due to bureaucratic delays, and she avoided saying whether she would ask Bill Clinton to clear their release from the National Archives.
She avoided a yes-or-no answer to whether she supports giving New York driver's licenses to illegal immigrants and at one point denied saying the idea made sense, when in fact she said less than two weeks earlier that it "makes a lot of sense."

She avoided saying what, if anything, she would do about Social Security taxes or benefits, saying a commission should study the system "if" it has problems, and saying that acting as though the troubled system is in "crisis" is "a Republican trap."

I simply don't trust this woman and the fact she keeps avoiding questions or giving misleading answers confirms this for me.

I couldn't agree more. As a disgruntled republican I'm not opposed to voting for a democrat but I am strongly opposed to voting for this woman for president. I would strongly consider biden or richardson on the democrat side. However, the media darling seems to be hillary at this point.

I heard a report that her name as well as a Clinton adviser are attached to the records to be given authority for the documents to be released. Either she's still unaware of this, or she's lying. I'm gonna go with the latter.

I find it funny that people are attacking Hillary for the delay of this records release in the midst of the most covert, secretive, shady and straight up dishonest administration we have ever seen.

'I think there's no doubt that we represent the kind of change that Senator Clinton can't deliver on and part of it is generational. Senator Clinton and others, they've been fighting some of the same fights since the '60's and it makes it very difficult for them to bring the country together to get things done.'

because obviously the best way to stop that sort of administration from persisting is to bury your head in the sand and disregard similar behavior by a candidate looking to be the next administration.

And what exactly are people trying to gain from seeing these documents? Are they magically going to somehow keep her from the White House? The Clinton's had Ken Starr climbing up their asses for years...if it didn't come out then, what the hell is hidden now?

And my point for saying what I said earlier is that the right wingers in here are getting in a foam over it yet ignore what Bush does. It's pathetic but typical behavior.

Dis this also apply to the Bush National Guard Records in 2000 and 2004 from how many decades ago?

Obviously somebody had enough expectation to fake some!

Iowa Obama supporters call for Clinton documents

With Sen. Barack Obama continuing to directly challenge Sen. Hillary Clinton today -- both in South Carolina and in a Tribune interview -- his presidential primary campaign is also firing from Iowa with a letter challenging her to more quickly make public documents from her time as first lady.

The assault from the Illinois Democrat's campaign comes by way of Iowa Atty. Gen. Tom Miller, who was one of the first public officials in the state to endorse Obama, as well as Lu Barron, a Linn County supervisor.

The two suggest that many documents pertinent to Clinton's experience before she was a New York senator will not be released until after the Iowa caucuses are held on Jan. 3.

"Throughout this campaign, you have repeatedly emphasized your experience as first lady," the letter states. "However, by refusing to authorize an expedited release of the records from your time in Washington, you are preventing the Iowa voters from thoroughly reviewing that experience."

Clinton spokesman Phil Singer, meanwhile, responded with a statement that claims Obama's campaign is "misleading the public about the laws governing the national archives document process."

Singer maintains that it is not just a simple matter of handing the material over to the public.

"By law, those documents are government property in the custody and control of the national archives," he said in the statement. "For many reasons, including national security and historical purposes, each page must be reviewed by the national archives before it is made public."

I'm not conservative and I started this post. I also don't support Obama, so what other motives must I have that you can use as a deflection?

My reasoning for this post:
I don't trust the current administration and having a candidate take this stance and not answer direct questions or slow a process to release documents is a huge red flag to me no matter which side of the aisle you sit on.
