| Buckeyes go down @ home against Illinois  If it was going to happen, however, it couldn't happen any better for the Big 10 ... the nation needs to see that the conference is not just 1 or 2 solid teams but a bunch of good teams and people need to recognize that Illinois will be a top 10 team in the coming years. They are young, they are talented, and they are well coached - and Ron Zook will continue to pull in the top talent. They played a hell of a game... and the Buckeyes played poorly on both sides of the ball. You aren't going to win many games giving up 3 turnovers and forcing none... etc. The Buckeyes still face Michigan next week for the Big 10 Championship and a trip to the Rose Bowl... nothing to be ashamed of when you're young and could return 20 of your 22 starters. PS: 1 Illinois TD was total bullshit, the guy fumbled the ball into the end zone and it should have been a touchback : (
