| Test yer vocab & help feed the starving it seems legit its not on snopes etc & i hope its not a re-post FreeRice ok test your vocab plus 10 grains of rice donated by the advertisers to the UN World Food Programe for every correct answer which clearly is a communist plot etc plus you get rated so we can all rank each other & feel smug or downhearted or whatever its multiple choice & often the word forms preclude many answers so that show come after 40 correct answers i was a level 45 adept allowing me to look down upon American presidents & the like, ..., lucky guesses had got me up to a 48 at one point still, ..., its helping feed the starving so unlike a lot of the quizzes/surveys etc that the LL collective are fans of this one allows us to be {insert polysyllabic word here} rice production does, of course, contribute disproportionately to the worlds stock of greenhouses gases but , ..., what can you do etc? But it's not too hard... I mean the question I'm on.. 1. vermiform means: 2. splendid 3. worm-shaped 4. accessory 5. fivefold VOCAB LEVEL 35 ================== vermiform sounds like an adjective to me so I can rule out accessory/fivefold. So it's either splendid or worm-shaped. Since "form" is the suffix I'm gonna go with worm-shaped. They usually don't try to trick you on the answers. If you can break the word apart you can usually find the answer... granted you know what the answer choices mean. | ||||

| I wonder if they actually keep track of every right answer somewhere? And how annoying would it be to actually have to count out that many grains of rice.. don't they usually package it by weight? | ||||
