| Obama doesn't hold his hand over his heart during the national anthem in Iowa so I know this is old news, and i'm not pro or anti-Obama, but i'm simply trying to get the "real" story since i've gotten this damned email twice from red state relatives already. you know the one, showing the picture below, toting it as evidence that Obama doesn't consider himself to be an American (which obviously is bullshit), but I'm curious to get what you guys think about the whole thing and if anyone knows the real story or if this is the real story..... | He has some bullshit explanation regarding "true patriotism" and "false patriotism." Apparently placing his hand over his heart to show respect to the nation he wishes to lead isn't true patriotism in his eyes so he refuses to do it. | ||||

Do you have a source where he said anything about true patriotism and false patriotism? Depending on how he worded it, I'd agree that putting your hand over your heart just to look good isn't an indication of true patriotism.
