| McCain answered woman who rapped Clinton AP - Republican presidential hopeful John McCain says that he respects Hillary Rodham Clinton and that he said so in so many words when a woman used the word "bitch" to describe her. "How do we beat the bitch?" the woman asked McCain Monday at an event in South Carolina. McCain's response: "That's an excellent question. I respect Senator Clinton. I respect anyone who gets the nomination of the Democratic Party." On Tuesday, CNN's Rick Sanchez raised the question of whether McCain should have admonished the woman, and McCain's campaign criticized that criticism on Wednesday. "Most people who have seen it are looking at it as a real mistake on his part in terms of the way he handled it," Sanchez said on the cable network's "Out in the Open." McCain's South Carolina campaign manager, Buzz Jacobs, said in a statement Wednesday: "It not only reflects poorly on him, but on CNN. If Mr. Sanchez had even the faintest perspective on the race for the White House, he would know that Senator McCain has expressed his utmost respect for Senator Clinton numerous times on the campaign trail, as he did at Monday's event in Hilton Head." source: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071114/ap_on_el_pr/mccain_clinton_comment [link] | ||||

I dunno. I can't get too upset at McCain for not brow beating one of his supporters even though she acted like a douche.

| CNN got a hold of the clip:
...relevant and newsworthy and important information to this campaign... Is John McCain done as a result of this... is this going to become a viral video???... So absurd. They're trying to end McCain's campaign over this clip. Absolutely hilarious. Good ol' CNN.

The news as a whole is both for and against both sides... neither side can do ANYTHING that isn't going to garner some of this sort of thing.

CNN is ridiculous. this isn't even a bloop on him. loosing respect of women. come on now. i could give two shits. like we're all fragile flowers and are going to get SOOOOOO offended if a woman calls another woman a bitch. WHOA. never heard that word before.
I think it might be different if she had called her a cunt or a slut or something far more degrading. but a bitch is a bitch. seriously. you can say it on tv. it's not that bad. grow up CNN and quit trying to convince me of something which frankly is not there! | A Shameful Statement Hi What happen to you all men, is your mind get blow? In video a woman call a woman (whoever she is less matters) "Bitch" and a Republican Presidential Candidate directly talk about "Hillary Clinton" a opposite party candidate. Can you not clearly guess what McCain wants to say actually behind his polite answer? He is giving his clear thought about his competitors. What can we expect more then this from him. Giving a open support to this type of question is a great shame. How he can have answer to a shameful question? "This could be real bad for John McCain" Best Luck John
