| I go with what I said in another thread about him. I think he is a very strong and independent man maybe the strongest in the field. He could stand up and do what he felt was right against all odds. He seems to shoot him self in the foot now and then though. | ||||

Compare the view he held in 2000 vs the ones today, and many of the most important ones have completely changed. I can understand changing views based on new evidence, but you don't change your opinion that drastically in so many areas that just happen to align with the electoral climate favoring evangelical Christians.. I have no doubt he's a good man, but he should have stuck to his "maverick" image instead of capitulating | ||||
