What'd be funny is to get all the people who turned down the offer together and vote on a law where all the ppl who accepted the million bucks has to give it back and spread among the people who didn't accept it.... who would there be left to vote 'no' on that one?

Well if it was just me, I still probably wouldn't. I like being able to have my say.

If it was a much larger amount, well, then I could pay some of these people who'd do it for tuition at NYU or an ipod or whatever to vote how I want them to and probably vote in every important election by proxy and still come out on top. Maybe even with multiple people doing it.

If it were just offered to me, I'd take the money.

If it were offered to everyone I'd still take the money because I know it wouldn't be long before the Democrats decided to tax everyone who was well off enough to not take the money and then take away my right to vote and give it to someone else to level the playing field.

Both the democrats and the Republicans wouldn't have a single supporter left who has the right to vote. You'd have to be worried about the crazy nutsos who wouldn't take the money. God knows what they'd do if they had a monopoly of the votes so they could actually get into power.
