So CNN is throwing debates in favor of Clinton?

Marc Ambinder (November 16, 2007) - "Diamonds v. Pearls" Student Blasts CNN (Updated With CNN Response)

First off, the plant and ask the dumbest questions "what do you prefer, diamonds or pearls?" KEKEKEKEKEKEK OMG LOL!!!

This is what political discourse has become in our country. We are going bankrupt and we wonder what shiny things the candidate likes. Big fucking deal. How about, "What do you plan to do about the pending fiscal crisis medicare and medicade face, both going bankrupt in less than 10 years?" I guess that would require hillary to actually develop some sort of actual answer. I guess it is difficult to "triangulate" an answer to a serious question and issue. I mean really, you want more gov't in health care but we can't even keep what we have floating, what are your real answers?

Gateway Pundit: CNN's Las Vegas Post Debate Analysis-- A Clinton Reunion

Second, CNN stacks the audience in favor of Clinton. Brownshirts in mass for the one they want elected! The clips I watched of the booing of Obama and Edwards when they attacked her, please, how obvious can you be.

I mean, if you really doubt they media tries to sway elections to what they want you are an idiot. It is obvious CNN has picked Hillary and FOX has picked Giuliani (oo that is coming unraveled as well). the main stream media is trying to usurp the election process people and they aren't even trying to cover it up.

I was making a thread on this, but never got to finish. I have a lot of information about this debate. But yes, it is fairly obvious that the Clinton News Network completely threw this debate in favor of Hillary.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty pathetic. This is another reason that I say get as little of your news from the television networks as possible, they all suck in varying degrees.. this was an extremely egregious violation of the trust that's supposed to exist between those who report the news and the rest of the population.

I was, though, glad to see the progressive blogosphere speak out about and slam CNN for its obvious bias and lack of full disclosure about the post debate analysis.. I wish the right would be as honest (or at least care) about the same type of shit coming from "their" network.. then we might actually get some decent news from tv..

Apparently so.

The keepers of media ethics still bring up me and Jerome working for Dean in 2003, even though we both disclosed it prominently and Jerome even quit blogging. But Carville? He's kosher of course.

Being a member of the "club" sure has its benefits.

Carville and CNN have been getting slammed for fielding a roster of partisan Hillary boosters as their "analysts" for over a year now.

The chyron with his name on it should continuously remind viewers of his extensive efforts on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

Not surprising. I guess whats most surprising is the outcry from many democrats who are pissed that Biden is basically getting ignored.

Hillary is a polarizing figure. People on the internet and those who are actively involved in politics tend to strongly dislike her. This means she's highly unpopular on the internet and progressive blogs. So the outcry from this this is from that perspective and not the perspective of the average American.

CNN has had a clear institutional bias for a long time. This is not the first incident of such blatant bias. But when CNN favored their news towards Bill Clinton, Democrats or liberals in general the progressive blogosphere never gave a damn and denied there even was institutional bias at the organization.

The liberal blogosphere doesn't care about CNN's bias unless it's favoring Hillary interestingly enough. If they were to stop favoring Hillary the liberal blogosphere would instantly stop slamming CNN.

In other words the attacks on CNN by the liberal blogosphere are disingenuous. They only care because it favors Hillary. They don't care about the overall bias in their reporting or in the media.

Does the "conservative blogosphere" blast FOX for it's bias? No? Ok then...

Conservatives who support Ron Paul.. yes, every time Fox blasts Paul. Once again, this has nothing to do with the station, but more to do with the candidate the station is or is not supporting.

Bottom line is they stood up and called out CNN for their bias and trying to influence the elections by playing favorites with a candidate, whatever their reasons, it's certainly more than the right wing has done with bullshit throughout the years..

I suppose it's an easy way to get in a cheap shot at the progressives who stood up and said something though, which I suspect is more important to you anyway..

Feel free to prove me wrong and give credit where credit is deserved instead of just throwing around the Republican's favorite acronym expansion for CNN

They are owned by a for profit company and need ratings to justify ad dollars - it would be no surprise that the candidates were chosen because the execs at the respective stations thought it would bring in the greatest number of people to match the premium money demos.

CNN has been a long time supporter of the Clintons. I think sometimes it just is political.

At the Republican YouTube debate they aired a question from a Hillary Clinton employee. They even flew him out and allowed him to give a speech while in the audience. They were called out on it live on the air.

I find it hard to believe they didn't Google the names of the people they were accepting questions from. Somebody at CNN knew he was a Clinton employee. Just another example of the clear institutional bias at CNN.

I just made a thread about it.
