| Well, I finally got my Hitachi 42" Plasma from Sears yesterday. Set it up, and holy crap does regular TV look like shit on it. I was going to wait until after the holidays to upgrade my Dish Network to HD because we will be gone for two weeks, but I can't. My wife is like "We spent $750 for this?"  The cool thing is the new HD DVR has a USB2 port on it that supports up to a 750gig external drive. Now I just need to head for the hacker sites to see if movies loaded on there can be taken off and put on my PC | ||||

I just picked up a 42" panasonic plasma yesterday that i am actually pleasently surprised about its picture in non-hd. Its not great by any means but it is most certainly watchable. | ||||
