Well thanks, at least my thoughts are interesting sometimes.

Yeah thats the thing about smaller slower moving boards, it oven takes a vested interest to really post a lot. Because sometimes there just isn't much to post about.

But my toughts are all over the place in general.

True, but I have visited the OT or as they call it here

- was curious being that most of the members here are from there - and it goes waaaay to fast, can't see how someone can stay on topic with it

naw, it's just some huge forum that a lot of us used to talk politics on, but then they began really regulating what we could talk about and stuff, so some people split off and started this place, and then more of us followed. If you look at the memberlist and sort by date joined, you can pretty much figure out who most of us are.

it was my impression that it was the exact opposite that prompted the exodus, ..., but i like the increased sense of uncertainty & mystery that this intrepretation has brought into my life

Yeah, it was. It was well regulated and all the sudden it was non-regulated and every 11 year old with an attitude got to post there and just fuck up every thread with non-sense. It was horrible. But it moved fast there and we did have good discussions. This place is horribly slow sometimes.

I wish everyone who's active here would try to get other people they know to join and post.. We'd all love to have more active people, the other discussion moved fast only because there were already so many people talking about other stuff who'd poke in every now and again

We don't have that additional draw on the site, I'm hoping the release of the new front page and some of the features that come along with it will help draw in more people, but we won't know until after it's been out for awhile.

The political board was much slower, but when they stopped any Mods it went to shit.
