The p22 is a lot of fun too, but it is picky about ammo and accurate enough for a 3.4" barrel plinker/trainer. I'm building 2 Cali legal AK’s right now. Based on unfired romy g kits, I'm making the receiver out of an "80%" flat which is much harder than it may seem at first. It requires a good hydraulic press, plenty of power tools, welders, a few press jigs, and a bunch of other shit. I'm amazed that all these terrorists have been building and maintaining them in the mountings with little more than rocks and hammers. One of these AK's will be grippless or use an alternate grip so I can use my pre ban mags, the other will be a fixed mag so I can use the pistol grip (yes gay, I know) In early January I'm picking up 8 guns I think from my grandfather, 4 pistols and 4 rifles. I'm not sure what exactly I’m getting but I know a 1911 in 9mm, Walther ppks, some .22lr, an M1 Garand and M1 carbine are included. I’m looking into getting a cheap .45 too, I’m thinking about a Ruger p90 | ||||

| I am a little worried that I did not heat treat one of my receivers good enough. I've been trying to look heat treating up and I've found plenty of tutorials for the treating but I have not found anything about possibly re-heat treating if it was not done correctly the first time. | ||||

| I don't own any, though I want to buy a handgun ... nothing big or fancy, just something that can stop an intruder. My dad has a few guns, and a real blow-gun too. When I was younger we lived in a neighborhood infested with rats, he and I would sit out around dusk and use blowdarts to kill rats in the yard.  | ||||

| They make small safes that can locate right at your bedside that can only read fingerprints or have your own code. Either way a safe is your only option with little ones around. I like to go to the gun range and rent their handguns and do target shooting. I used to spend hours target shooting when I was a kid with my BB gun. We would have contests to see who was the best shooter. | ||||
