| Separation of religion and government. If you look at history, when religion played an important role in how we were governed, many of the same issues were prevalent in 'european' society. Islamic nations are simply 'behind' the rest of the world in that respect. They haven't benefitted from the religious reforms that Christiandom has. | ||||
