I agree with this. Many of the top leading Democrats really aren't that different from the Republicans on the issue of Iraq. They just focus their pro-war stances with anti-Bush rhetoric, but the message is essentially the same. The only difference is that the Democrats feel invading Iraq was wrong, but want to continue it. The Republicans think invading Iraq was right, and want to continue it. They all have their own means of changing strategy, some haven't even released an idea for strategy. There really isn't much difference on Iraq between the two sides that I can see. All that really matters on Iraq is what the new president will do when they come into power, their previous views and likes or dislikes for Bush don't really sway my opinion.

My favorite is the "money wasted" and how it could be "better spent," like the Democrats wouldn't be continuing the war

Nope, I don't. I am not a Democrat and I was anti-war when it mattered. At this point, it doesn't matter. We're going to be there for the long haul no matter what now. I am so discouraged by that, but oh well. I am MOST definitely anti-war when it comes to Iran. This shit we talk about them is a repeat in history and I will speak out against it any chance I get.

I don't think they OR the possible new Republicans coming in would waste as much money as we are on this war. The money would be used to fund more domestic things if a Democrat was in power. Not sure what Republicans would spend it on...probably making the rich richer.
