T.O and Romo loses - I am happy, it wont be a big disappointment if we don't win next week but if we do, we have a good shot at winning it all

Yeah, the Patriots are all but a forgone conclusion. The Giants played well but they had some help from Romo and their useless offensive line. Even if you play a perfect game, the Pats will find a way to win. Look at how they beat Jacksonville. They had a good game plan, executed it to a T and still lost. Why did they lose? Because Tom Brady completed almost every pass he threw. And unless you can match Brady pass for pass, ( good luck with that) you won't win. Sure anything can happen in football. You never know... but if I were a betting man I would definately not put my money on a Giants superbowl win.

The pats are human, they are not Gods, you guys already want to bestow the crown on their heads. They still have to play 2 games, they said the cowboys were a lock to go to the superbowl - that didn't happen

It's sports so anything can happen, but come on. Whoever they're playing is human too and is going to have to have their "perfect" game AT THE SAME TIME the pats have their worst game of the season. Chances are slim. And this nebulous "they" you keep talking about also said the pats only won during the season because of Randy Moss. Against jacksonville I believe at one point brady was 16 for 16 and had hit 7 different receivers with Moss only having one reception. He was a factor because he pulled defenders his way...they don't actually even need him to catch anything.

In other words, nobody else has the depth and the sheer number of tools in their arsenal. I'm sure whoever the pats meet in the superbowl will give them a good game, but...........well...........I think I see another ring on the horizon.

I was rooting for you all the way. Fuck the Cowboys! Seeing Jerry Johnson's face on the sidelines at the end of the game was priceless!

Of course they are human... but they just might be the best team the NFL has ever seen, and Brady just might be the best QB that the NFL has ever seen. I'm not the only one saying it either. None of the other teams in contention are at the same level. Yes they could still have a bad game catch an unlucky break and lose the big game... but it's not likely.

the ravens have them completely beat and it a few calls and bounces to go their way. So let's not talk about them they are the next coming.

who??

They're not the second coming, but they are the best team in football. And like I said above they're going to have to have their worst game at the exact same time anyone else has their best game of the season. It could happen, it's just not likely.

Like I said, anything can happen in football. the Pats can have a bad day and the Ravens can have some luck. But they absolutely ARE one of the best teams to ever play the game. You don't set season long records like they have been doing with luck. You can have a lucky game, or a lucky catch, or a lucky call.. but you can't have a lucky season. They are only the 2nd team in NFL history to have an undefeated season. They broke numerous records this season as well. Give credit where credit is due.

And you know what, people don't talk about this, but they do it with class too. You won't see Maroney or Moss out there talking trash on other teams, crying about this or that, making stupid comments or acting like they are gods gift. Brady is humble. Brady who might be the best quarterback ever to play the game gives credit to his team. Even after breaking the record for completing 26 of 28 passes, he gave credit to his offensive line and his recievers. He minimizes his own accomplishments and gives credit to others. You just don't see that in the game today.

They are humble, and part of it is because that's what expected. Belichick would punish them if they did that shit. Announcers a few games ago even talked about it... someone on defense did something stupid and belichick pulled him and benched him. Moss was known for being a loudmouthed asshole before......have you heard anything from him since joining the pats? I haven't.

And Brady besides having talent is also one of the hardest-working QBs in the league. They talked about his pre-game ritual...he watches days worth of tapes of the opponent, they run simulated offense/defense, and they run it until it's perfect. Some sports columnist interviewed one of the offensive line on the radio and he said the games look exactly like the practices because they do shit over and over.......even when they were crushing teams by 40+ points. And he said it's usually brady who wants to do it "one more time" to make sure everyone (including him) has got it.

i know this has nothing to do with the game, but when i was working the last one (for those that don't know i have been a beer girl at gillette for 7 years) i got to meet Dustin Pedroia! it was pretty cool. he was all incognito and i saw him, abandoned my beer (lol) and went over to talk to him. thanked him for a great season and shook his hand.

i had gotten him to sign a ball back in September by shouting into the dugout, hey dustin, who's gonna be rookie of the year! and he was like, who me? and i said don't be modest! lol. and he came over and signed my ball, and he got rookie of the year, and so my ball is worth something more now... anyway, i reminded him of that, saying, you probably don't remember, and he laughed and said, you know, i actually do remember that... lol

anyway, that's my story. the end.
