Does anyone seriously want the patriots to have a "perfect" season?

Unless are a die-hard patriots fan...I mean after the whole BS with them getting caught cheating...seriously...any other team in the world except those guys

(I'm a Chiefs fan, yes we're doing bad, but we should get a nice draft pick!)

I was set to be unbanned on Feb 1st...I did request the ban in the first place...ive been out for a bit...

Yes I'm a pats fan, but I don't really care about football like I do abotu baseball. Anyway... The whole cheating thing is stupid. We have had this discussion before. All of the teams are/were doing this or something just like it. It's not new, and it's been going on for decades. I don't think you can or should take anything away from them because of it. They were 'caught' doing this early on in the season. Whatever minute advantage this taping thing might have given them ceased at that point. Since then they have proceeded to dominate almost every team that they played and set records. You can't argue that they are not legitimately good. Not just good, they are magnificent. There is talk about them being the best team in the history of the NFL, and talk about Brady being the best QB ever to play the game. To try and belittle what they have done by calling them cheaters is just wrong. To say that they don't somehow deserve to go unbeaten is silly. They deserve the accolades for doing whatever they can manage to do. If they manage to go unbeaten, they deserve to go into the record books. They made this season on merit.

They'll be in the record books...but Tom Brady is no Joe Montana...also there comes a point where a team wins so much you're sick of them, and that's where they come pretty close to sitting right now

I personally think Manning is a better quarterback and that's just modern time...let alone ALL time

it's not hard to have great stats when your team is full of great players already

let's not forget the patriots almost lost their division to the three worst teams in the AFC not too long ago

I doubt brady is the best but there's no way to quantify it so it's not worth arguing. I also hate it when people talk about the "best team" in history. Different times, different teams, different rules...........the Pats might have gotten crushed by the Steelers when Pittsburgh was at their prime...no way to tell.

If they manage to go unbeaten, they deserve to go into the record books. They made this season on merit.

Oh definitely.

But put him behind the Bills' or 49ers' offensive line and he wouldn't be breaking records like he is.

That's why I think it's funny when people talk about "best/worst" individual in a team sport. Brady is on pace to break a LOT of records, but he's also behind one of the top 5 lines in the NFL. He'd still be a great qb if his line was a sieve but nobody would know.
