Fox News biased against Fred Thompson?

A few weeks ago, Fred claimed that Fox was biased against him.

Now, Papa Bear Bill O'Reilly has a poll asking for everyone's favorite Republicans candidate so far:

Him too.

But Fred is 3 points ahead of McCain, and typically is 3rd or 4th in many states, but McCain is on there.

Paul is typically last in most polls, so that's at least easily explained.

I wonder why Bill O only chose 4 candidates?

Paul has raised more money than Thompson or McCain afaik, and is statistically tied with Thompson in several polls, and while Thompson has been sinking in the polls as people get to know him as a candidate (completely lackluster), Paul has continued to rise in name recognition and poll numbers.

Lets not forget Thompson also got several months worth of free press and name recognition before he officially entered the race.

I'd say it makes less sense for Thompson to be on that list than Paul, but I think we can both agree that Fox is making an effort to exclude candidates they don't like from getting any free press.

I am not sure what Fox is doing. They probably have tendencies of "Pack Journailsm" and "whos hot and whos not" like anybody. I don't see that as a plot to exclude Thompson.

I think Fred Thompson would make a great President. The problem is he will not sell himself like a breakfast cereal. The impression many people have is that he really does not want to be President just because he is not so desperate for attention. I don't think that is true, but it is reflected in the polls.

Look at that answer to the recent Debate hands question. That was not something a handler coached. That was Fred being Fred. That was a message that I am not hear to play games and give pop quiz answers. He may be the best Republican candidate, but he is not good at playing with a self-serving media and does not care to learn. So he may be left out in the cold?

It makes me wonder if both parties have not driven the best people away from the office? I think they have!
