Hey, I got a great idea, why don't we let passengers on airplanes carry guns! That way they can defend themselves if terrorists try to hijack the plane.

I think of it as a civic duty for those that are capable of carrying to do so (pending that they want to, of course), thereby acting as a deterrant for criminals against everyone in places where anyone could be armed.

I hope Ohio adopts a "stand your ground" law, although I do see how it can be abused.

why mess with a 9mm? they are hardly even worth the punch. go for a nice sized 45. karr makes a great carry sized one. the cops even realize the 9mm doesn't have much punch.

Stopping power is a myth.

Shot placement > caliber.

I would prefer the lighter recoil of the 9mm so I could get faster follow-up shots.

cause a .45 is expensive to shoot very much, and I'd probably dick around at the range quite a bit - 9mm is cheap shit

unfortunately, for most citizens who are rarely in a situation to fire their gun consistently OR are in high stress situations, shot placement isn't such a luxury.
