This was emailed to my wife by her evangelical mother.

Very interesting and something that should be considered in your
choice. If you do not ever forward anything else, please forward this
to all your contacts...this is very scary to think of what lies ahead
of us here in our own United States...better heed this and pray about
it and share it. We checked this out on 'snopes.com'. It is factual.
Check for yourself. Who is Barack Obama? Probable U. S. presidential
candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to
Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya
and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents
met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his
parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then
married Lolo Soetoro , a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.? When Obama
was 6 years old, the family relocate to Indonesia. Obama attended a
MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic
school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a
Muslim. He is quick to point out that, 'He was once a Muslim, but that
he also attended Catholic school.' Obama's political handlers are
attempting to make it appear that that he is not a radical. Obama's
introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was
temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon
after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his
son's education. Lolo Soeto ro, the second husband of Obama's mother,
Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a
Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is
followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the
western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN
when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein
Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay
his Muslim background ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into
office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran. Barack
Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he
show any reverence for our flag While others place their hands over
their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches. Let us
all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!!!! Please forward to

What the hell kinda bullshit misinformation is this being spread around by these people? My wife was reading this and I heard her laughing, so I had her forward me the email to share with you guys.

I've seen several variations on this lately, most don't really accuse him of attending a madrasah anymore since that whole thing boiled over.. what's sad is people think that all madrasahs are radical institutions that preach terrorism, etc.

I've called out a few people I know who tried to tell me that he was a Muslim, how stupid do you have to believe he's a Muslim while at the same time criticizing his very Christian preacher?

One of my long time friends has actually stopped talking to me all together because I showed him how wrong he was after he tried to show me some of the stuff his parents had sent him.

I want to punch people in the face when they call him B. Hussein Obama or say he's a Muslim. Infuriating. I don't like his politics, but I am smart enough to make my argument on political grounds, without the attacks on his person.

I think attacking someone's integrity and character is fair game, but spreading rumors that play off fears and prejudices is really pathetic.

True. But Farrakhan also has supported, and received support from, many White Nationalists such as David Duke. Does that mean that Duke is a Muslim?

I fully believe Obama was only in that church for his political gain anyhow.

I find it interesting that nobody else points that out. If I remember correctly it was one of the largest congregations in Chicago. Someone like Wright who has the attention of that many people makes a valuable political ally.

that was the whole deal, Obama used the church to further his political career and once they became a liability he dumped them

They only became a liability because the press was on the story for weeks. They are actually pretty mainstream around here as far as these kinds of churches go.

In contrast, the media has pretty much shied away from covering McCain's radical preacher

As has been stated many times when you try to bring this up but you seem to always forget, McCain had almost no relationship with the guy, as opposed to Obama.

I have been around a few of those types of churches, so I know it wasn't anything out of the mainstream for them, but it is out of the mainstream America.

Therein lies the problem. Church isn't the place where most Americans would expect to hear something like "God damn America", and when they did it raised some eyebrows.
