I thought you were saying that it doesn't matter that Hilary was making incorrect statements about Pakistan

Musharraf is involved in several election issues, what she said isn't as innaccurate as you're making it out to be...on a long campaign trail...and talking to simple people...it was a minor mistake in translating things to Iowa voters

...since he's technically elected by parliament...which is having the elections...and also as stated various political allies are running...

NO of course it matters! She's got claims that she was on 'dangerous travels around the world' as First Lady. She's running for an office that requires her to know about what's goin on in the world RIGHT NOW. She damn well better know what she's talking about if she's going to bring up Pakistan in a campaign!

I WOULD TAKE ANYONE BUT HUCKABEE (THE LIAR), McCAIN, GIULIANI. ROMNEY IS SO-SO, BUT RON PAUL SHOULD WIN!

But my predictions:
Romney
Thompson
Huckabee

I'm getting closer and closer to ANYBODY BUT HILLARY

Interesting that you place Thompson so high. What makes you put him second?

If Paul places anything less than 3rd, it won't be a failure but it will be a major disappointment.

Can you tell me what percentage would be a failure?

Failure will be after all the chips are in. Placing top 3 at that point will be success enough to certainly warrant a third party run, but failure would be getting low enough numbers to make a third party run futile.

At least that's how I see it

I thought he was tied for third with McCain in Iowa?

There is a statistical three way tie with Paul/Thompson/McCain in Iowa for third place.

In 1992 Bill Clinton came in 4th with 3%!

He is, but getting second is the highest I've seen anybody put him yet. I still believe he's most likely to be the 'surprise candidate' but even I haven't placed him at second in Iowa.

I know!

That's why I can't figure out what all the fuss is about over Iowa.

So this is how they will dismiss Paul if he places in the top three? Clinton only pulled 3%?

Or that he is a "spoiler" as McCain's manager called him.

Excuses are great.

I can see the results on Fox now:

Huckabee pulls 1st, Romney Second, Thompson Fourth, McCain Fifth, Giuliani Sixth

Very few people here are against RP, your tired whining about "excuses" is meaningless, all we are doing is looking at the reality of the situation and think some of expectations for RP from his supporters (on this board) are too high.

I want him to do well, but I'm going to be blind about his odds

It is - might bode well for McCain also, but a very good sign for RP. If he does really well here (poll 2nd or better) and in NH (win) then wow he will become a force
