Stupid parent.

I parked my motorcycle and went in a restaurant door a few feet away. A guy and his son stopped and were looking at it and the kid took a few steps forward and grabbed the muffler. Stupid parent.

Ow! lol, I guess that's one way for a kid to learn.

In the vid, the kid turns around like the parent was screaming "Little Sally! Don't go in there! *WHAM*"

the mother wasn't paying attention...the kid was kicked and already landed before mom came in teh picture. no, I'm not a perfect parent, but in parking lots and crowds I always have a hold of my kids.

My wifes nephew did that when it was about two. He loved my bike and I rode up, got off and was talking my helmet off when he ran and grabbed the pipe. It happens so fast. At least he still loved my bike. But for the next year he would walk up to my bike and say "hot" and point.

yeah. i did that last summer. burned my ankle against my brother's exhaust. i've never ridden a motorcycle before and he never told me not to step off the right side....

oh well. it looks like a giant birthmark on my ankle now....

He got that figured out soon enough!

Isn't this how kids learn most things these days? We don't want to hinder all that self expression and exploration!

Yeah, but it was a sad way to learn it. It really burned him bad. Blisters and everything. I would have cried if it happened to me.
