Rotten Tomatoes should be an excellent source for you, considering audience responses and respect obviously hold no water for you, maybe expert critics will...or you can reject society and critics and style yourself the one man who has figured out movies while the rest of us don't understand the art

Rotten Tomatoes usually is spot on, but I just hate Apollo 13. It uses every single Hollywood trick in the book.

I liked Apollo 13. But for the most part because it was a true story and they did a good job on the science of what was happening. But as far as the acting I don't recall anything remarkable about that?

i think he just started out as a mediocre actor getting stupid movie parts and evolved into the greatness he is now, much like many good actors we have today.....

as far as Julia Roberts is concerned, i think she's a fantastic actress, not necessarily one of my favs, but i think she has a very good talent. and i do think she's pretty, but an unconventional type of beauty.

she fucking rocked in Erin Brockevich (sp?). one of my fav movies.

Except for this one thing:

Julia Roberts and Sarah Jessica Parker should get in a face ugly contest. Roberts' lips look like they're trying to take over her face. They're not good lips, like Jolie, they're misshapen. Overall her face looks like a poorly drawn anime drawing, but with a large nose. (all that is, of course, just my opinion... lots of people also think Sarah Jessica Parker is attractive, and I'm convinced those people have ocular tumors.... but whatever)

its just an attraction thing dude. it's fine. some people think Jolie is ugly too, i'm not one of them, but there ya go.

i think SJP can go back and forth. without makeup she looks hideous, but she can look very hot/cute in the right outfit with her hair however.... and so can Julia Roberts.... at least in my opinion.

Well, I think SJP is famous because of her fashion or whatever... most of the time to get famous as a woman, you gotta look REALLY good. How many all-around ugly actresses are there? Kathy Bates? You can't count Rosie O'Donnell or Rosanne Barr b/c they both got their starts in comedy. Even most older actresses have like a regal beauty thing going on.

SJP from the neck down ain't bad, but her face would have prevented her from doing anything if it weren't for her infatuation with fashion (imo).
