lap tops are cool

So I need some kinda laptop bag to carry my new lappy to and from school. I'm not 18 or 21 anymore so I don't want some crazy bright blue or red or whatever laptop bag with hello kitty or Optimus Prime on it. I also do not want a trendy 300 dollar case from some designer I never heard of. I just need something that will fit a 17" laptop and something that the college kids won't laugh at when I bring it into class

Do I need something that doesn't exist?

The only ones I found so far are like the Targus bags you find at every office store in the world. But those are all so booring. they are black. they are bags. that's about all they have going on. I have no idea where to go.

I would go with something more a little more protective than that personally. Newegg has a surprisingly large (500 or so for Him) selection of laptop bags as well if you're looking for ideas.

Also look at wegner stuff.

It seems like a decent compromise IMO - durable, but not too ugly or expensive

believe it or not, Best buy has some nice ones too. I got a nice over the shoulder leather laptop case from them a few years ago.

I have a Targus backpack that I have been using for over 4 years. It has been around the world (literally) and has protected my laptop and held a HOLE LOTTA SHIT for a long, long time.

my work bought me one of the dell laptop bookbags, which I have seen as a brand without the Dell logo on it (which probably made it cheaper).

Anyhow, I really like it. I have it loaded up with stuff I need at work (like screw drivers and cables and whatnot), my laptop and charger, and put books in it when it's time to go to class. The shoulder straps are comfortable, and it's quite roomy inside.

I can't change what I am.

I'm 30 years old and I don't have much hair. Hey at least it's not one of those bags on wheels that I tote around like a homeless lady. Maybe I could put some patches on it. Is Led Zeppelin still hip these days?
