Did the weakest Dem candidate for the general election won tonight? I think so. By sending forth Hussein Osama out of Iowa, Democrats have unwittingly weakened their general election prospects. Hussein’s exotic mixture of radical liberalism, Kwanzaa Socialism, antipathy towards the unborn, and weakness against his jihadi brethren will all ...

| A taste of things to come...Republicans in the general....v.Obama
Just where things start, this is the new narrative Not the "slick willy draft dodging white whitewater blach blah" Now it's the "socialist" who is so far left it's disgusting, and he's obviously a radical muslim terrorist and sympathizes with them... Now, are you going to hear Brit Hume start off his evening news with this? No But you will hear the famous fox news "questions" "Can someone with an Islamic past win the White House?" (which is not an outright lie because of his father) But much more common will be "Will American's trust Hussein Obama with the White House?" Plus the cocaine, twisting what his CHRISTIAN church has said (ofcoures, Fox News won't twist Papal bulls and blame it on Rudy...) Here comes the GOP hate machine, get ready for everyone on this site except the liberals to really "dislike/hate" Obama in the near future, for things unrelated to his political stances

| Obama is very VERY impressive, I hope he gets the democratic nomination. I like the guy and love the message he delivers even though I disagree with a lot of it. | ||||

| I know a few people that hate him. Like my boss for instance. He thinks he is a Muslim and is going to take over the country for terrorists. Not surprising my boss also thinks Iraq attacked us on 9/11. I know a few others that don't like him because of his middle name and the fact that he is black. I try to explain that he is Christian and probably more white than I am seeing as how he grew up in Hawaii with money and a white mother. | ||||

| If you think Hillary has an easier shot at winning the election as the Democratic nominee you are kidding yourself. Nothing will motivate the GOP base more than her on the ticket. | ||||

Obama's only hope is that they are so angry at each other over the primary they take their rage out at each other and vote 3rd party, but no matter what: the gop will show up at the polls at rates regardless of who the nominee is

Obama or Hillary will unite the Republican voters to turn out in droves. Both of them are extremely controversial. Edwards would equal less people out voting for repulblicans IMO

| Since Ronald Reagan the GOP has never "not come to the polls" the only time the differed was when Ross Perot took away some of their votes, but the GOP turned out in 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004...even these midterms in 2006 numbers showed the GOP showed out in force...it's just INDEPEDENTS sometimes abadon the GOP, and the same independents who were disgusted at the GOP impeachment hearings of clinton wouldn't be adverse to voting for her...or Obama for that matter The "put someone mild enough on and the GOP won't turn out" is a myth | ||||

If he wins the nomination, I don't think there would be enough motivation among the GOP to turn out in 'droves'.
