| Independents: If You Can Vote in Any Party Primary? I am curious because we have so many of you on the board and the big news in New Hampshire's Open Primary seems to be the Independents behind Obama and McCain. So the question would be if you were able to Vote in an Open Primary what Party and why? You don't need to say "who" you would vote for. I don't even know that myself yet!

| Different States have Different Rules: Types of Primaries:
New Hampshire is Semi-Open. I like the ability of Independents to Vote in any Primary because their votes are growing in importance in all elections and the Parties need an indicator where they are going in order to win general election. I don't like crossover party voting in primaries. It invites partisans in one party who have a locked candidate to tamper with the selection of a close race in another party. Just think if Hillary had a lock for the Democrats how many would love to back "Huckabee" because they think he is a sure loser in a General Election? The Media sure does! | ||||

| Every state is different. In oklahoma the two party system has a lock thanks to corrupt politicians rigging the system. Here you can only vote for your party. If you register independant you can't vote in the primaries. | ||||
