It happens all the time in journalism, no matter the media outlet. Shall we go back to the days of the NYT when they continued to promote that guy who lied in ALL of his stories, despite knowing they were false? I can't even remember his name now...

For anyone to focus on FNC as if it's some dreadful entity is just childish.

They reported the denial. There's also a LOT of precedence for people "officially" denying something until it's "officially" announced. There's also Begala himself saying

Why should we? We don't care. It's par for the course in journalism.

It's the FNC hating freaks that continue to bash a media outlet for doing something wrong on occasion, as if they're the only ones.

It's quite pathetic really. And I AM talking about FNC, and why nobody really cares, nor should they.

Like I said, we don't have a seething hatred for the other outlets like people have for FNC.

So FNC has a conservative bias...it's what made them bank. So other outlets have a liberal bias...it's what they're used to.

Who really cares?
