And again, I HATE Fox News. And it looks like Fox was acting stupid with this whole Begala thing anyway.

But to mock them for that and then try to excuse Olbermann is equally retarded.

I don't know how conservative Abrams is, but he has even more clips than I did showing Garrett reporting the denials over and over. And he helpfully timestamped them for Tuesday--a full day before Olbermann said Fox "never reported" the denials. Thank you so much for posting this.

So just because someone says something isn't true a news organization is supposed to stop talking about it? Since when?

Just like Dan Rather did with the Bush National Guard Letter, it's just responsible journalism.

Oh wait...

I haven't read the whole thread, just the first page. Are the Dems/Libs here still thinking this is some kind of Fox News conspiracy?

Yes, Fox news is the only news organization in the world that will not stop talking about a story because someone said it wasn't correct.

Why not? Do you think they should have stopped talking about it because it was denied to be true? If so, I saved myself a lot of time.

That is him being pissed they fired him, which I actually thought they didn't. I thought he retired a few months early. Wait, do you still think his story was true and the documents weren't forged? You poor kid...

Anyway, what does this have to do with this thread? Just a way to avoid my comment about a news organization not dropping a story just because someone denied it was true?

Here you go guys.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Former first lady Hillary Clinton says she has no plans to launch a bid to become the country's first woman president in the next two elections.

It has often been speculated the former first lady would make a bid for the White House, but in two interviews Sunday, she said she had "no intention" to run for president in 2008 -- and would turn down invitations to run in 2004.

Clinton said she is enjoying her current political role as a senator for New York.

"I don't have any intentions or plans for running," Clinton told ABC's Barbara Walters. "I'm flattered the question gets asked. I hope that it will lead to a woman running for president."

CNN.com - Hillary: No intention of running for president - Jun. 9, 2003
So, was it irresponsible that so many news organizations kept talking about her running? It seems it wasn't!
