| the temple bar area is or was when i was there last, a cool place.... unfortunately budweiser is beer of choice (fucking crazy irish).... definitely take some tours out into the countryside to see castles or whatever. the dublin castle is pretty cool too. you could just walk around the main area of town, good shopping on the south side of the river. if you can take some history tours, you'd gain a good appreciation of dublin's history. it's just as old as london really. oh and be prepared for it to rain every single day, on and off. they don't call it the green isle for nothing.
