| Actually next to Paul, Huckabee has the best understanding of foreign policy. Other than that I hate Huckabee. The Republicans disgusted me in this debate not including Paul. Their comments on Iran reminded me of ignorant simpleton good ol' boys talking politics at the country club. The party is headed in a horrible ignorant direction. | ||||

I understand there's a large conservative base who feel we've gone wrong on foreign policy and want to hear a conservative admit that. I'm pretty sure Huck understands that as well. But that's about as far as his knowledge of foreign affairs gets.

Let's look at Iraq. It's taken some modifications on the approach, but now things seem to be working. Liberals, on the other hand, wanted to completely leave it behind. Now, compare what's going on now to the results of leaving it...what would be better? IMO, what's happening over there now is much preferred than the chaos that would result from leaving it.

| I can't view the clip at work, but I think he should have given his response at the debate and not after he had time to sit down and calculate it with his campaign team. | ||||

| I wasn't knocking your post. I look forward to watching the clip on my break. I was just saying it would mean more if he had responded in the debate. Which he may have, I haven't seen it all either. I found the clips online and only saw the first 10 minutes so far. I can't bring myself to watch all the Republican debates because I don't plan on voting Republican this year. | ||||

| I would be voting for the best candidate, but I'm not registered Democrat or Republican in my state and have no intention of voting for Romney, Huck or McCain as long as Hillary doesn't win the nomination. Right now it looks like Obama is going to win the Democratic primaries and that would be the person I'd vote for. | ||||

| Fox had a control group of moderate and conservative voters in South Carolina. Thompson won the debate although some said it was "too little too late." They also made it clear Ron Paul was the worst! His insane conspiracy rant about Iran got the most negative measured response in any debate! ![]() McCain also did well in the debate and has the momentum, but Thompson is not out of it yet. He needs a good newsworthy result in South Carolina if he can get it? Even a solid second place would do.

If anyone votes for McCain, they might as well say AMNESTY is OK. Because that is exactly what they will get with a McCain vote- illegal aliens being given the OK to stay in America and receive everything their heart desires.

| Exactly. The race has barely started, and Thompson is truckin along. Clinton didn't win until Georgia, and we see what happened there. | ||||
