Fox and Censorship!

Has anyone else heard about Fox cutting this question from when they re-aired the recent GOP debate and also how they took it down from youtube once it got posted on digg?

YouTube - Ron Paul SC Debate on Electability Question 5 - 01/10/2008

Say what you will about the other networks, but going to such lengths to delete a single question from the record is pretty absurd. I also like how none of the candidates were smiling at the end of Paul's answer, seeing as how he schooled them.

That was also a ridiculous question to even ask. Between this and barring him from the NH debate... it's disgusting how they treat him.

I haven't watched the video, but if you recall the Clinton plant at the CNN Democratic debate, you'll also remember the CNN re-play editing out the Clinton plant.

So, in your own words:

going to such lengths to delete a single question from the record is pretty absurd.
Oh, and what makes you think it's deleted 'from the record'?

Why do people point at other networks that have done the same as if it somehow justifies it?

This happens EVERY time fox news is mentioned without fail.

Because like I said in another thread, it's done because they think FNC is so much worse than the MSM. They want to show what makes FNC so baaaaad. But they can't show why FNC is any worse than any other network.

In this instance, I bet the thread-starter might say "I don't watch FNC cause they do shit like this cause they're biased and deceiving, so I watch CNN instead"

And I say, "what's the beef with FNC? what makes them any worse than any other network?"

Either way, if people really have these problems with FNC, they should stop watching the news on TV en totale. But if they really did that, they wouldn't care enough about what the MSM did enough to post these threads.

The question was definitely targeted and showed their bias against Paul. Did Fox themselves edit it out of the debate on YouTube or did someone who posted it on YouTube edit out that question?

Because too many of the people who get most of their news from Fox believe that if you criticize their network, you're somehow an agent of the "liberal media establishment" and agree with everything questionable another network does. It's a pretty pathetic assumption IMO, because it accuses anyone who criticizes Fox anything of somehow blindly supporting every decision any more left leaning news outlet makes despite all the evidence to the contrary.

When CNN did the bullshit with the debate favoring Hillary, failed to disclose Carville's former official status with the Clinton's, etc.. not only did the non-Republicans here speak out against it, but so did the partisan Democratic websites

1. I actually watch Fox more than CNN and MSNBC combined. I enjoy watching Hannity and Colmes and O'Reilly to see their stupid false 'outrage' of something that happened that day.
2. From what I understand, the question was removed from the reairings of the debate on FNC later that night.

I'd like evidence of any other news outlet that hosted a debate asking such a biased question against a candidate (dem or rep).

My bet is you won't be able to find one.

So they edited out a known clinton plant's question? How biased and unfair!

The situation in my link involves not an audience member but one of the actual hosts.

How about the MSNBC (I think that's who it was) question that wanted a 'show of hands' regarding support for policies on climate change. If that's not a biased load of a question I don't know what is.

I don't really see why this is that hard.

Yeah, because they knew the plant was there to begin with.

They edited it out to avoid the continued controversy.

Fox News asked a loaded and biased question. The network doesn't get the response they want from Paul (one that makes him look band) so they remove it from the re-airing. You think this is justifiable because you don't agree with the candidates view? Fair and Balanced

Out of curiosity, how we do we here even know that what the thread-starter is saying is true. I see the Ron Paul video on youtube, but I see nothing about Fox pulling anything. Proof? Video? Links?

If any of you care. I was flipping through the stations and I saw RP talking. Apparently Fox reran the debates again tonight. Guess which part I happened to stop on? This part that was allegedly cut out.

I suppose it is possible they put it back in when they reran it a second time.... But I have high suspicions it was never cut out in the first place.
