The Democratic Civil War: who will win?

Well, as an extension of my previous posts (and subsequent unwarranged lambasting that I got for it) I think it's highly appropriate that a thread be made for this issue, as it's getting bigger!

The campaign between Obama and Clinton is coming down to race!!! Of all things, RACE! With the polls showing African American voters turning against the former First Black First Wife, with Obama's drug use coming back into play, with Clintonistas hitting the black radio waves, it's getting heavy!

But, I think you all should listen to the greatest monologue of all time on this whole issue, but your dearest friend, Rush Limbaugh:

I think Obama's drug use should be in play to the extent that people deserve to know what someone running for the highest office in the land has done in their past.

I don't necessarily think it's a negative, but it should be out there.

How about the fact that they are using accusations that are normally reserved for use against conservatives?

It’s an open secret in the broadcasting industry that BET’s hiring and employment practices are less than ideal. Black employees have long been expected to accept lower wages than the industry standard in exchange for the privilege of working for Johnson’s network. And the network itself has been known to air exploitative programming and videos. To the latter, one could argue that that’s what the audience wants, and one would have a point, and BET certainly isn’t alone in airing exploitative programming. Substandard wages and longer hours weren’t what the network’s employees wanted, but it’s what they got.

I think everyone knew Clinton would get as negative as she needed to be if she felt threatened.
