Why do people hate Jews?

If you're talking about history, I'll give some of the history here

The Jews certainly did have a "convert or die" method, read the Old Testament...the problem is that they were continually conquered by people of other religions, so after that point, it's impossible to tell your occupiers to convert or die...it went on for so long that conversion stopped being practiced, infact it was discouraged because it angered the rulers of whatever area they were in...and it would hurt others in the community, not just the preacher

There are several interesting developments that led Jews into the position they were in...money-wise

1) Christians have these really communist beliefs about lending money, that businesses can not lend money for interest, this lasted until very recently, so only Jews could lend money, thus royal courts needed Jews for all the loaning required in medieval wars

2) Rural folks were subject to cruel punishment from their fellow christian overlords...when famine struck, who do you blame, the only non-christian community around...this and actual laws forced Jews into the city...you force a large group into a center of commerce, and what do you know, they end up a lot more successful than people working in mud all day

So over hundreds of years, you had Jews doing special functions for a lot more money than your average starving Christians, and then you had urban jews with a lot more opportunities than rural christians...this lead to a middle/upperclass that was not proportionate to religion/size

Ofcourse, this was all caused by religious intolerance by Christians, strangely enough it was Christian zealotry that almost forced the Jews to make more money than your average Christian

Money breeds more money, and over time people noticed that the Jews ran many banks (because of the old rule of no interest loans, which defeats the purpose of profitable banks) and many businesses (because they were centered around cities)

Ofcourse, without any formal education, they believed it was a conspiracy, and societies love a scapegoat, so when things were rotten, and a boy was starving, there was nothing to get people their minds off starving like the boy telling everyone a jew tried to sacrifice him, and used some of his blood in a satanic ritual

Rumors spread, pogroms start, and the thing is, people remember the original slander, so when a new one comes up, it becomes all the more credible, so blood libel after blood libel starts and people really start to believe it...rumor after rumor about Jews controlling all the money start over Jewish Banking, and it becomes more and more accepted

After centuries, they were such effective scapegoats and so many rumors had built up that Jew hatred had become a favorite past time for Christians

Don't you understand, black people may still be suffering racial discrimination on a daily basis in America, and with Jews that has basically ended

However, Jews who play the Jewish-Card are much more likely to have the same political beliefs at 7960, while blacks vote 90% Democratic, and to be sure the 10% are those who somehow believe that lowering taxes on the wealthy is what will cure Black America's lowerclass problems...not those who "play the race card"

Stereotyping an entire group of people isn't going to convince anyone on this forum.

I'd be interested in seeing you post some statistics of what percentage of Jewish people violate the law (thus, criminals) vs other groups if you actually have such data, which I doubt you do.. it's much easier to make broad generalizations and then shy away from backing up your assertions with little things called facts than it is to come out strong making a case by providing evidence.

I have yet to see you offer a single fact to back up any assertion you have made on this forum. That might fly amongst your little group of narrow-minded companions, but in order for you to convert anyone to your belief and make yourself seem anything more than just a bigoted, ignorant fool you HAVE to provide some sort of factual basis for your assertions.

You've yet to offer any proof of Jews not existing outside the context of Judaism (which is in itself an absolutely asinine statement).
